This is my personal space, where I’ll share some of my thoughts, adventures and passion projects.

Historic Pinson Street, Newnan GA
Another project with the museum I volunteer with. This video is a snippet of the Historic Pinson Street Essay. The full video is featured as a digital exhibit in the Coweta County African American Heritage Museum. Their Facebook and Youtube pages also contain video snippets I produced from recent local events.
Celebrating Black Excellence
Doing my part to ensure our history is not erased. I decided to highlight and celebrate Tuskegee Heroes for this Black History Month. I really enjoyed working on this project and the idea was inspired by my Grandmother. I will definitely be expanding on this.
Operation: Be The Change
One of the most important projects I’m working on involves a local African American Heritage Museum. I started volunteering my graphic design services to help bolster their community and online presence. See the slideshow for more.
Authorial Debut
My husband and I recently co-authored and self-published a children’s book, dedicated to our oldest son. Although I did not illustrate the characters, I did provide the overall design of the book, including the cover. I also created all promotional material, such as stickers, bookmarks, social media posts and more. For more on the book, click here.
The G.O.A.T
Originally a class project, this word cloud dedication to one of my favorite athletes needed an update. So I updated the fonts and color palette. It’s honestly inspired me to create others, so in the future, I’ll be sharing additional word cloud art dedicated to some important Black Heroes and Heroines in our history. But first…Serena!
Up Next Series
Merging my passion for basketball and graphic design, I decided to start a little mini-series, showcasing a few young stars in women’s hoops. First up is the Double-Double Queen, Angel Reese, highlighting her record 2023 season where she set the NCAA Single Season Record for Double-Doubles. (Graphics created using Adobe Photoshop).
Up Next Series Cont’
Must show love to the All Time Leading Scorer in NCAA Basketball. The graphic may say “Women’s” but that is just because it was created mid-season. I was thinking about finalizing this series with these but a tribute to Lynette Woodard is in the works. As a temporary Kansas kid, she was part of my basketball story. (Adobe Photoshop).
